Has anybody heard any rumours about Reg making a return trip to Glastonbury this year? She was fantastic last year!

  6. Regina does Glastonbury

Just got back from an excellent Glasto. Of course, Regina was the highlight for me. Brilliant show, and she looked so happy to be there. Best bit was in "That Time", when she was singing about the pigeon with the broken wing, and two people in the crowd held up plastic pigeons on the end of huge poles! She had a little giggle and mentioned them when she got back to the piano. Glastonbury - Michael Eavis - book her again next year!

I don't think it is webcast, unfortunately. Most of the coverage is by the BBC, so people in the UK should be able to watch via iPlayer. Your best bet would be to check the torrent sites afterwards, e.g. http://www.torrentz.com/search?q=glastonbury Only 4 days until I head down there. So excited!
  8. Beacon Theatre - June 17, 2009

Thanks for that everyone. Glad that she played Machine - it's currently my favourite from listening to the record on myspace. I hope she plays it at Glastonbury!
  9. Regina does Glastonbury

Hi all. Long time occassional reader of the forum, finally got out of lazy mode and joined up. So excited about seeing Regina at Glasto. Why? Never seen her live before. First saw her on this - Regina on Jonathan Ross - and started catching up with her back catalogue. Yes, I was a late starter! She was one of two artists I really really wanted to see this year (the other being Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and they're both playing Glastonbury! Woohoo! So. She's got an hour on Friday afternoon. What treats can I expect in a festival set? Does she usually bring a band, or perform solo? I've got Far pre-ordered on iTunes, so I'll have a few days to listen to the new songs - well, the ones I haven't already heard on Youtube. Can't wait!
