  1. London Show 16/02/07

That's the problem, the BTH version of "Fidelity" is quite possibly, one of the most watered down songs she's ever released. quote: The stand-alone adjectives themselves are nonsensical when describing a piece of music. Hardly. Many use adjectives to describe music, hence the term them being descriptive words [Clever, no?]. I'm not going to get into the English Language however, doing an English degree, I have quite the fill of that. Regina just isn't up to much... quote: Thinking of her career, she made a huge leap from a Sidewalk Cafe to a big stage and TV. That's definitely true and a fair point. I just feel the transition isn't fair for everyone who doesn't love synthesized pop music, this translates through her live show. Instead of having spur of the musical-moment ideas, she comes across as just wanting to promote BTH. Take Win from Arcade Fire for example, having performed in London/Montréal/NYC for three weeks, each show is amazing. Even if Regina is ill, she definitely lacks showmanship these days, when compared with her past. quote: Good luck with not seeing her again, though. If she went back to the original platform of piano and voice, I'd love to see her again. Otherwise, I'd rather keep my money for someone with a musical identity, as opposed to a large label pushover. This post genuinely wasn't to annoy anyone, it was just a fair recollection about Regina's change...From my opinion.

"overpaid reviewer for a second-rate tabloid..." How did you know?! Fidelity just sounded awful, pathetic and obnoxious [Hence the lexical choices used earlier]. It lacked any sort of feeling, and is quite possibly one of the worst songs I've heard. [Although the live where Regina says "and I can see Jack Black dancing... et cetera used to be a lot of fun.] The show just wasn't up to much. It doesn't compare with other live acts I've seen this year. I won't see her again.

Apologies if this is the first time you've seen Regina and really enjoyed it; she can be an amazing artist. Sadly, this post isn't for hipster points, I genuinely wish it were. Well, obviously, no one wants to be a hipster...but this is just I being honest: Tonight was the equivalent of watching a man enter prison for a crime he didn't commit; stark, disturbing and painful. Regina's new platform is prog-rock embarrassment. Having seen her three times in three different cities, I was looking forward to tonight...Even after BTH. However, the show was bleak, she was quiet [i imagine many of you will put this down to her having performed for a lengthy amount of time this tour. Sadly not, my friend saw her much earlier on and recorded the same notable silence and disinterest.] Regina showcased, well, BTH, throwing in "Field Below" which was met with silence. "Fidelity" became almost obnoxiously pathetic, "Better", frankly was one of the worst sounds/sights I've ever witnessed. The entire show was just more reason to come to the rationale...Old Regina ain't what she used to be. The performance was depressing. End of.

Bobbin' For Apples used to be called Names And Faces, back in the day. I mention this just incase that may have led to any confusion. x
  6. IMPORTANT INFO ON THE TWO NEW SONGS!

I'm really out the loop, sorry. Is this refering to Better and Fidelilty? Or two other new songs? Two other new songs from Begin To Hope? Or tow new songs not on said album? So many questions!
  7. Myspace songs

All I'm going to say is: would you have booed Dylan for going electric?
  8. Regina Replies to us all through her blog...

It made me sad that Regina felt she had to explain herself. She can be whatever the fuck she likes.
  9. new songs...

Fidelity sounds like it features Dr. Dre on beats. Fo-shizzle.
  10. Happy birthday Regina

    Hope it was good
