  1. post your favorite photos of regina

That ice cream pic is great; so hilarious. I've always liked the one where she's standing on herself (staircase pic) at the Tower Records thing.
  2. I know the presale was back in the forties, but I was waiting on some friends, so I could see how many to buy. Anywho, Looks like I'm gonna go alone, but now it's sold out. I tried buying some from an online broker, but they called today to say they were sold out (after I ordered them online, of course :-|). Ebay shows nothing. Anyone have a spare? Please? I know Nicole said she has one, but I figure greenie's gonna get it.
  3. Anyone have an extra ticket to the LA show?

  4. The Los Angeles show is on Tuesday!!

I'll be there with bells on! And pants, too (hopefully).
  5. Tonic - 7.27.05 - DVD!

I got my DVD a few days ago. In a word, it's "freakin' sensational!" Many, many thanks to Kristina for making such a fantastic DVD. :-)
  6. Tonic - 7.27.05 - DVD!

Kristina with a K, I sent you an e-mail. My address is CalDragon05@aol.com Even if you don't end up making any more, thanks for at least considering it.
  7. Tonic - 7.27.05 - DVD!

I'm also wondering if withakay is still making the DVDs. I hope so!
  8. Whis is this Fiona Apple?

I personally like Regina better, and I don't have any of Fiona's albums, but yeah, she's cool. I've probably heard about a dozen or so of Fiona's songs. The first time my friend heard Fiona's unreleased song "Extraordinary Machine," he thought it was Regina.
  9. I just saw that Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire has a song called 11:11. It's from their 2001 album Swimming Hour. That's it - if anyone tells me that Ben Kweller has a song or something called "11:11," I'm gonna have a cow. A big one. Edit: Okay, snagged the Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire song, and I gotta say that it's pretty darn awesome. I had heard some clips of their stuff a long time ago, and it sounded kinda 1930's-ish, and "11:11" sounds "more modern," I guess, but I think I will listen to it several more times in a row now - which is to say, a lot.
  10. Regina At The Movies...

I went to the movies on Sunday and I heard "Us" followed by "Somedays." I was standing in the lobby area at the time, and the music wasn't especially loud, so I didn't even notice "Us" was playing until almost the end. Still a cool little tidbit, though, I thnk.
  11. NEW ALBUM IN THE WORKS!!!

Best news I've read all [insert amount of time here].
  12. If she gets to sing a second song, it might be cool to hear "Dance Anthem of the 80's" or something of that nature.
  13. Yeah, Carbon Monoxide would indeed be pretty cool. As far as the Green Day thing, I think that was a one-time-only thing just for them, because they had some long songs on American Idiot. I think Carson gave Green Day an entire episode (mostly airing footage that had not been aired when they were actually on the show). I think artists mainly get to play one song on the Carson show.
  14. Okay, here's a possible coincidence: Shawn just mentioned 11 and I was reminded that in the past week or two, a singer named Maria Taylor has released an album called 11:11. Amazon.com link to Maria Taylor's album Sidenote: I listened to some of the samples, and they did sound cool... she's got a mellow sound that could make for good relaxation music. Well, anyway, I figured that her having an album called 11:11 was just too weird, and in the process of searching for a link to the album, I saw that there's a book that talks about there being 1,111 "Spirit Guardians," and that they are "Spirit Helpers." Supposedly, the time 11:11 is a "signal of their presence." Amazon.com link to the book I'm talking about, which goes into more detail. I'm guessing that both Maria's and Regina's album title came from these ideas? Maybe? Maybe not, but still a neat little thing, I thought. Also, there have been about 2 or 3 occasions where I woke up at exactly 11:11 am, without setting an alarm or anything. No foolin'... no foolin'. I always thought it was a cool little tidbit 'cause of Regina, but now it seems... more interesting, I guess.
