  1. Regina's Radiohead Cover on iTunes this tuesday!

I've been off the radar for a very long time, I've only just heard this now! How can a person making breathing sound so good...?! Haunted so I am. Haunted... One of my friends is a huge Radiohead fan, I don't think he's that into Reg, but he does admit this is pretty super. Give me Reg Radiohead covers over Amanda Palmer's any day...
  2. Amanda Palmer Solo Show Cover

The Evelyn Evelyn album was made available today. I don't really know what to say about it xD It's musical story-telling I've never come across before (granted, I've only heard so much music in my 17 years!) 'The Tragic Events of September' Parts I, II and III tell the story of the 'sisters' with spoken word. You definitely need 20 minutes free if you want to listen to those, they take a bit of concentration! It's really quite a clever album, although I can't see myself listening to the whole thing very often - the 11 minutes of Part II aren't exactly conducive to..well...doing other things! I'd recommend it to anyone though, Amanda doesn't tend to disappoint musically or artistically so... *thumbs up*

  6. 19th December 2009 - The O2, Dublin

I'd have to agree with JJ5000 there - the middle part of his set all sounded fairly similar... He was much much less boring than I thought he'd be though!
  7. 19th December 2009 - The O2, Dublin

That was possibly the best last-gig-of-2009 I could possibly go to. Unless it'd all been Regina of course Set list waaas: The Calculation Eet Folding Chair Ode to Divorce Machine Laughing With Blue Lips On The Radio Dance Anthem... Bobbin' for Apples That Time Apres Moi Samson Us Fidelity Hotel Song Love, You're a Whore I have to say, I never really got Love, You're a Whore til this evening. Serious wow on that part. I made a rather ridiculous error in judgement in not bringing my camera, I thought a semi-pro'd be taken from me - then realised when I got there that it sooo wouldn't have. And the lighting was magnificent... Ah well! T'was an epic evening. Her saying "Dia dhiabh" (hello in Irish, to a group of people) was the most adorable thing I've heard all year! I'm trying not to ramble...it's kinda hard... Basically - brilliant evening, and I love my new grey hoody

  12. quote: This review was WAY more mean, it didn't just attack her music. It attacked the essence of the woman we love. I remember when I read it the first time, it was really upsetting. ASSHOLES..... http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/13184-far/ now THERE's a reviewer that needs to get a life. That was horrible
