    I'm a semi-regular poster on the strokes.com forum. Frankly I'm surprised how many people look at those posts and take them at face value. Either way you the girlfans are helpful, though annoying. They buy albums now so we can buy future albums later.

    I'd never heard Regina before I saw her open for the strokes and now I love her to bits. I love how she sings it like she believes it.
  11. it's a music scene based in NYC. regina's associated with it. it's pretty songs (sometimes folk-like melodies) with lyrics about anything at all, a lot of the time about sex. the moldy peaches/adam green are as mainstream as it gets. it's mostly just an outlet for people who want to make fun goofy music and not be taken too seriously.
