  3. New music we should all hear

Good god. I haven't visited this place in approximately 10 centuries. I just want to recommend Joanna Newsom honestly. Its funny how music can touch your heart. What she makes is truly special. Unique from anything else in the universe. Its not just her compositional genius or the incredible lyrics, or unique voice. Its everything. I cant say enough good things about her and I could go on all day, but who am I kidding? All of you people probably already know this.
  4. Wee Rants

I hate when your older siblings get a really snotty attitude with you over something about yourself. Bro just got naggy on me because i haven't taken my driving test yet. I'm 15? hellur, hardships suck. and liiiike my parents would buy me a car. I almost went off on him about how he was with some abusive guy secretly behind my parents backs and was COMPLETELY spineless like a coward who couldn't deal with his own reality, but I just mellowed. I realize he is pissy, but jeesh. Just because I'm not so eager to get out of my parent's watch doesn't make me useless. I'm sorry i'm more focused on getting into college, while you didn't apply for a SINGLE scholarship and dropped out second semester to use your student loan to buy your bf nice liquor and pot. Holy crap, take it out on someone else for pete's sake.. Edit: I feel much better now

Absolutely in love with the last bit of the song, the instrumentation is just pure perfection. Yeah, the song is about so many things at once for me.. including the miscarriage. but i loooove Joanna Newsom, and that was my first song i really loved by her. Go Long - Joanna Newsom. This song is really something.
  7. What are you Eeting right now?

I'm too lazy to make something delicious today. so I thought i would clog my arteries a bit. so corn dog and fries.
  8. What are you listening to right now?

Two Birds This song really does a nice job of showcasing those really especially pretty parts of reg's voice.
  9. Good News Thread!

^Hahahahahahah. At least you won't have to see the penny-pinchers anymore.. My good news: i was all into this book, getting really sentimental like i do almost every book (unless it's a crappy one. like low-quality literature) and i find a great typo. They meant to spell "Conduct." instead, it came out as "OOnduct" hahahah i love typos in mass printed books so much.
  10. What are you listening to right now?

Lemonade - CocoRosie such a strange vocalist, regardless, i love weird vocals. Melora Creager and the lot of unique voices. I love this song to death though..
  11. Let's go to the Movies...

I watched The Fourth Kind last night. It's based on all true events. And contains real footage. not that Blair Witch Bullshit. There is a really fucked up and medically supervised woman living on the east coast because of this movie. Holy crap. This movie scared me, and scary movies really don't do it for me. The real footage almost made me cry at one point. It's horrifying honestly. You guys really need to see this. I'm not a huge alien believer, but man.. this movie really.. jeez.. Holy crap. Bing's page is bout owls today. FML. FML. FML. movie wise: i enjoyed it. but i'm probably biased somewhere in my soul. a good 8.9/10

It's really a shame that more people don't know them Scotish pop bands FTW! Cynthia, believe it or not Camera Obscura are not very well known in Scotland. They don't get much airplay even on local radio stations. Only a couple of shows actually play good local bands. I am obviously biased, but there are so many great Scottish pop bands. What others do you like? They play a lot of Camera Obscura on certain stations on SiriusXM. Sadie - Joanna Newsom This song breaks my heart. can i get an amen?!??

I've witnessed it, and it.. it's still rough. My brother is possibly gay. Well, he dated a lot of girls in high school, even was madly for one girl.. But now that he is in college, he has been off/on with this one guy for a while.. and I will say, that this guy is a total DOUCHEBAG.. But they are having trouble accepting he is potentially gay.. I mean he has big feelings for the guy and all.. But, I guess what I'm trying to say, is that it would be hard for a parent to wholly realize this about their kid. I'm sure things will warm up soon.. They have run-ins.. But they are coming closer to being okay with it.. They love him regardless, and I'm sure your parents do too. I really hope things work out for you. No type of love should be opressed. <3 -With Love
  14. Songs you hope to see in the next album

I really love Dog and Pony, but i'm never sure if I ever want her to record all of those live songs i love. I'm always so intrigued with her new stuff. Though I have to say, Far's production of Human of the Year is SPECTACULAR. I guess if I had to choose a song to be on the next one.. Dog and Pony.

  18. post your favorite photos of regina

haha thanks guys. The last person I caught on live television was a few months ago, Joanna Newsom performing Soft As Chalk. Great performance. I just hate that I miss almost every performace of my favorite bands because i either am out too late or just plain forget they are on..
  19. post your favorite photos of regina

Your Ex-Lover is Dead - Stars
  22. Good News Thread!

^^^ That's really something special that it's waited that long. I know you may not view it that way, but it truly is. My good news: Some kids show. I got involved in it. I sometimes dislike children 3-7. Anyways, the happy side of it IS BJORK RELATED! We all end up having to be planets for this one part, and the way we are doing it is pretty dang cool and legit, with trippy effects on lighting and sounds. I get to be Pluto (and a crapload of other roles of moderate importance.) BJORK. PLUTO. BJORK. Excitement.
  23. Wee Rants

quote: Originally posted by Be like the water, people.: The rant begins when I'm informed that i'll have limited previlidges during the year (including no food service!!!) unless my entire student bill is paid off. That was fine, because it was paid down to like 12 bucks. Now, the bill has jumped up to (drumroll please) $5,500! Now dad's telling me to get a roommate for first semester, because they're charging me like i have a single for the first semester. Soo, long story short, i have 3 options: 1: come up with 5,500 dollars in 2 months 2: convince the school to drop these insane charges, or 3: find a new place to live... wtheck?! You should definitely talk to someone in the college. That is really ridiculous. I know that they can be *extremely* incompetent sometimes. My brother had craploads of problems with his college. But that isn't even right. in any way. Another option is just moving back home, if your house isn't too far from the college.. But its also expensive to live in an apartment.. around here its about $600 a month for a nice apartment in the very nice part of town. My Wee Rant: The girl I had a bit of a thing for is now dating someone else. Oh weeeellll. It would've been too complicated anyway i guess. I guess I could view it as one less potential stress
  24. Bulletin Posts

Hahaha, sorry. that doesn't belong here Hahaha, I don't mean to seem bitter, but feelings of such magnitude are only formed from a deep, intense love that only spoiled from abuse and neglect. Maybe I'll go post that on my local library's Bulletin Board. It would be the only interesting thing on there. Jeez, i think there is about 40-million 12-year-olds that want to mow your lawn.
  25. Bulletin Posts

Let's fall in love, and let you lie and cheat on me and disappear for the next 8 months of my life and leave me to wonder why. Then suddenly you reappear, acting like you are my best friend. Who the fuck's idea was that? Asshole.
