  1. Is anyone minding the shop?

The last post was May, 2009. I first got on the internet because of this website, and it's a little depressing that no one in Reg's camp is even posting on it. I am an idiot, so maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Anyhoo, looking for a recent concert lineup. I know Reg will never come to Florida because it lacks the safety and charm of the middle east, but I do love her and would like to keep abreast of the latest goings on.

  3. Are tea party people bat shit insane?

Human brains in mice? Mice are already clever enough! I don't think that tea partiers are any bat-shittier than Obamamama believers or MSNBC viewers...that little Maddoff dude is adorable. Do you think he's gay (and available?!)? P.S. Jon Stewart is coming over to the Dark Side! Soon to come... "The Daily Show" on Fox News!!

  5. Bittersweet News!

Bittersweet? Minor compared to physical pain and family loss, but... Last Thursday I went to the surgeon to schedule surgery for a hernia that had been diagnosed by my family doctor. The surgeon said that there didn't seem to be a hernia after further inspection. Ecstatic, I grabbed my hound doggie and took off on my jetski, which I had just spent $420 on it's annual tune-up and new battery. Almost home, the jetski locked up, and today I got the news that I now need a new engine, which with labor and parts will come to around $4300. On a 2006 Sea Doo I still owe $1300 on! So I'll be making payments for 5 more months on a jetski that I cannot remotely afford to fix! The freakin' hernia would have been cheaper to fix!! I'm with the great reverend Wright, GodDAMN America!
  6. The Beck Rally fallout

"Rally On The Mall"...REALLLY, on the Mall? I love a right wing nut job as much as any blue blooded, red-stated America first, last and in betwixt red neck but Glenn Beck is boring and (I love this left wing commie media description) MESSIANIC. Where can I sign up for Messiah apprenticeship? Bill O'baba O'Reilly ain't right wing, Sarah Palin is even more stupidly than O'babama(wow, GeeDub killed respect for Yale Business, and now Obabama has shown an idiot can get through Harvard Law!), and Glenn Beck is a typical recovering addict... boring and sanctimonious... you know, kinda like most liberals, as a matter of factly!! I think I now know why Reg won't come near me beloved Florida for a concert(she hates Fox News, ya know)! Just kiddin', darlin'... I'll vote Democrat this November if you come on down!!
  7. What are you Eeting right now?

Beautiful, positive thoughts. Ugh. I hate myself for wasting my days off... gotta get with it, start enjoying each day instead of dreading them.
  8. Bottled Water Equals Evil

Why do so many thoughtful, lefty minded people appear with bottled water? How can you deride us V-8, F-150 driving rednecks then drink from a petroleum based, easy throw-away plastic bottle? Studies show that the water coming out of your tap is high quality and far more regulated than the bottled stuff(North Americans, of course). The most generous studies show these bottles take over 5 decades to decompose in to the earth. Why can't we walk around with buckets of water strapped to our necks like horse feed bags? Save the earth, suck on a water hose! P.S. I work for a water bottler and can't get a day off because it's so freakin' busy.

  10. Riot Gear!

I know the names of virtually no songs that I love because I get the CD then play it without following the titles on the printout. I got a home theater system with the ipod hookup and when I went to pick out a song on the tv screen I had no clue what I was looking for... My beloved Red Hot Chili Peppers were the most difficult. P.S. Stadium Arcadium is led zeppelinesque in its ability to make me change my favorite song periodically

I still get sad thinking about her but it's gotten a lot better. But of course she is never forgotten and no one can take her place. It REALLY helps to get another dog. So another animal presence is there and the process starts again with your growing love. We got a PBGV after Lowbelly our basset died. Once again I'm sorry Bizarre thing about our love of dogs... when a beloved puppy of mine died years ago, everyone said I should get a new companion to help get over the loss, but I felt it would be disrespecting the memory of my lost little girl by "replacing" her too soon. My best too you and treasure the memories...the pain is replaced by good memories
  13. J.D. Salinger 1919-2010

I didn't read Catcher until my jr yr in college, then read it about 20 times. Odd guy, though. Wasn't he married to someone un-reclusivey?
  14. Wee Rants

Just a late thought to the PETA thing... they're nuts, but extremists provide the parameters(?) for those of us who reside in the practical middle...you have to flip back and forth between FOX and MSNBC to decide which is more idiotic! Of course, no TV is healthy and oh such pretentious shitheadery!!
  15. Baking (and cooking?)

Cupcakes? Way too much "cake to frosting" ratio. Frosting be the best part of anything with "cake" in it's name. Bestest cake in the world for fat swampbillies...peanut butter, preferably the Reeses Peanut Butter at Bob Evans when available (limited times only, similar to the meat like McRib!). The one at Perkins a strong second. Wait... my belly has alerted me those are pies! Sorry, belly... hard to hear you when you hang betwixt my thighs while sittin' at the computer!
  16. Wee Rants

Sorry to move back to loss of loved ones, but... One thing I've discovered is that the loss never leaves you, it just becomes momentary, as in, while the pain of initial loss subsides, over time this person and their impact on you pops up unexpectedly when something triggers your memory of them. Maybe a TV show or song you shared together that comes on, or a meal they loved, whatever. The cool thing about being human, you slowly only respond to the positive moments, probably because that's what makes us feel good. I suggest you start focusing on the positive, good times immediately and, at least for me, it makes coping with the loss more expedient. Oh, and to sugardrive; if you've been to many cities, how the f*ck did you settle on "Milwookie" !? It be warm down heeya!

What's funny is how people think a degree paves the road to success... know what the hell you want then pursue that, degree or no degree(was that the question?). I graduated with a 3.8 in '86 but went right back to my blue collar DNA in manufacturing without ever pursuing anything challenging... I haven't failed horribly, but dealing with idiots can be frustrating (as anyone who has read my posts can attest!). Follow your dream, Jiminy, cause settling sucks!
  18. Gah! I can't take the Avatar nonsense anymore!

How the hell does she refuel? Can someone ask her...must be getting phenomenal mileage!

I felt loved and acknowledged, which rarely happens even in real life!! I glommed on to this post site since I saw tallchick had responded and feel the need to (here it comes) acknowledge feller fleridians...any word on her ability to visit the greatest state in the confederacy? I think she has a warrant out on her from the last visit in 2005! I'm thinkin' UCF has new arena just her size and on a college campus which is her touring M.O. Where's the demand sunshine staters? We aint all dead down heeya!
  20. Why Come The Tour Thingy Ain't Updated

How the hell is it that the last listing on the tour segment of this site is July 9, 2009? I should have put this post on the rants section but I was torn betwixt two posties. Florida, baby, Florida. Do I gotta go on a violent temper tantrum (if I said "killing spree", the thought police might invade my trailer).
  21. Why Come The Tour Thingy Ain't Updated

Many thanks... helpful but not encouraging...there must be some statistical data telling her people that there is little support for her here in Florida...not good for those of us sunshine rednecks that love her.

  23. Birmingham 30th Nov 2009

I'm such a freakin' swampbillie... I see shows in Birmingham and I'm thinkin' "Yeeah, comin to Alabama!" Florida is in the south, ya know. jess checkin'!
  24. Regina on Craig Ferguson?

Hey, day late, dollar short as always... missed her again... working nights is so fun!!
  25. Tears Of A Redneck...Can't Go To Atlanta

Of course the pathetic $13.00 an hour I'm now making (I thought minimum wage was higher than that) has a little to do with it, I'm already committed to going to Tallahasse for parent's weekend at FSU on the 9th, 10th and 11th (hotel rates for those two nights on that weekend rival the rates in downtown Atlanta). Imagine what a great week that could have been if I earned a living wage. Keep your eyes on Fox news, kids... I plan to attend a town hall in my Regina T and spandex shorts, 300 lbs. of screeching anti-compassion (hey, I've got health insurance now, go find your own). Additionally, yes, I love her, but I'm boycotting seeing her again until she finds her way down 75 or 95 to the Greatest State in the Union (covering my poverty with indignation). P.S. since I never get on a computer anymore I wanted to get a side note to G if you read this... I got an IPOD (I'm up to the year 2000 in technological advances) but I was too stupid to program it so I had to send my CDs to my nephew in Virginia Beach so he could program it and send it back to me. I should be so ashamed but somehow, Not. We don't fancy learnin' round heeya. PS2: I work for a water bottling plant now and we're rapidly becoming more evil than Hitler...cool!! I used to say only idiots drank bottled water and come to find out I was right... but I need those idiots to fuel my lust for food and shelter... As a right wing nut job I realize me and mine are the only true patriots but sometimes...
