I'm not particularly a fan of Kelly Clarkson but I happened to watch an interview with her a while ago. She talked about how she was annoyed when, on her past albums, someone would just come in and pitch correct her voice. She mentioned that a lot of audio engineers just come into the studio and do what they've been taught to do (or what they are used to doing). It's not that they think the singer has a bad voice, they just come in and go "okay, let's see... EQ, compress, limit, pitch correct, reverb. Alright did my job - bye!" I have a feeling that's what happened here. I have read the comments on the Patron Saint video and some people are so against the fact that her voice has been altered that they are calling people stupid who think so. It reminds me of that episode of Family Guy when Peter tried arguing with the stubborn mule. It does happen to the best singers - often times for no reason. I hope Warner will re-upload the originals or something.

I know this is from 2011, but I just wanted to let you know that yes, it is copyrighted. Once a work is created, it is automatically copyrighted to the artist whether there is a symbol or not. And although it is wise to register the copyright, it is also not needed. Go draw a picture on a piece of paper. Is it an original piece of art? Yes? Good. It's copyrighted to you. See? Easy. From www.copyright.gov When is my work protected? Your work is under copyright protection the moment it is created and fixed in a tangible form that it is perceptible either directly or with the aid of a machine or device. Do I have to register with your office to be protected? No. In general, registration is voluntary. Copyright exists from the moment the work is created. You will have to register, however, if you wish to bring a lawsuit for infringement of a U.S. work. See Circular 1, Copyright Basics, section “Copyright Registration.”

Crystal Geyser Commercial

Well, to be fair, it is pretty typical chord changes. I mean, Regina's even used it twice. (I'm sure, even more than that.) Just listen to 20 Years Of Snow; the "he's a dying breed" section. It's the same structure with a few changes. I actually made a up song a while back for my friend, and then a few months later, they told me they heard something on the radio playing almost the EXACT same thing! I went and listened to it. I felt ripped off. Haha. -

I've known about this for a while. It's been my little secret! Muahaha! Actually, I don't know why I've never posted. But I found it through their soundcloud page. Here it is: http://soundcloud.com/morganpa...age-unreleased-remix (MP3 320 bitrate) Download from there and give the nice person some hits! :-] -
(Almost) Everything Regina Give-Away!

Maybe we could make a forum topic specifically for them? Like this: ATTENTION: Green Mind YOU'VE WON the Soviet Kitsch CD Hmm? That should get their attention... We could keep bumping it to the top until they see it. -edit- Or, so not to flood the forum with three posts about the same thing, just make a topic with their names as the title... -

Aaron, just got mine in the mail! Safe and sound! Thanks, man! Side note: I thought these were gonna be used (as in, from your personal collection), but it's not even open. Wow! Did you just recently purchase these??? Either way, totally awesome! Woohoo! Lossless Regina songs! Take that, iTunes and your "album only" nonsense! Haha. Gosh, I thought I'd never get a hold of The Call. [Edit: Also, just listened to The Noise... I love it!] "Thanks, Aaron. Signed, the other Aaron" -

I wonder... Can a 3 years old member be a n00b? Am I saying that I'm 3 years old? Can a 3 year old type? Is the 'insert' key really necessary? These are the questions that haunt me at night. -

I am having so much fun with this site! (http://waybackmachine.org/web) Regina's site from 2001: http://tinyurl.com/OldReginaSite Here's the whole history of her sites: http://tinyurl.com/ReginaSites Go ahead! Paste a site into the url section and go back in time! It's fun! Sadly, though, not all the sites work and some pictures/soundclips/videos won't be saved that far back. But for what it is, it's pretty cool! (Oh, I have a feeling this is in the wrong section! I mean, it's off topic but then it's on topic at the same time. Here, just in case, I'll punish myself: "You stoopid n00b!!1!! You can't do anything wright@!!". There, it's done.) -
