I would love to go to this one too, but Brazil and Argentina will have to do. Can't stay that long away from work

Queridos hermanos, can someone, please give me the venue's exact address? They don't a website for it and I'm trying to find hostels near it. Thanks! Also, if someone feels like helping a lost and poor Brazilian find a way to spend very little money to stay 2 days in Buenos Aires, please, add me on msn: cece85br@hotmail.com. Thanks again!

I'm relieved she's coming to Argentina and is performing n a theatre because the setlist will be longer. Let me know if you are coming! I can get an extra ticket when they go on sale next Monday I'm thinking of going, I just need to know the price of the ticket! Actually, Linkin Park will play on the 11th, so the ticket I bought won't cover that. But on the same day as Regina some really shitty Brazilian bands will play... there will also bi Dave Matthews Band and Kings of Leon...

I'm probably going to Argentina too! It`s totally worth it for a solo show! I may have to give up my trip to NYC in december for this, though.

They don't get much airplay even on local radio stations. Only a couple of shows actually play good local bands. I am obviously biased, but there are so many great Scottish pop bands. What others do you like? Unfortunately I don't know that many bands from Scotland just Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura, Teenage Fanclub, Travis and KT Tunstall. If you have anything good to recommend, I will be very thankful! My love for Camera Obscura grew like 100000000000 times after I saw them live 2 months ago! They are amazing! I like them since 2006 and I thought they would never come to Brazil... May 26th was the happiest day of 2010 so far. The video I posted was from that show. And B&S are probably coming to Brazil in November! Anyway, I'm listening to Gasoline by The Dead Weather

  15. Good News Thread!

And she's like the nicest person EVER! She talks to all of her fans! When I went to Porto Alegre to see her show, of course I arrived early. So I went to the venue to wait there and get a good place near the stage. She she arrived for the sound check, she saw the line of people wating for the show to start (it was like 4.30 PM and the show was going to start at 8pm, I think) she came out and talked to everyone! I told her that I had seen her in Sao Paulo and that I loved the show so much that I had to see it again (forgot to ask her to play Silent Sea, but whatever). Anyway, one of the guys in line asked her to play the Universe and U, because he wanted to propose to his girlfriend during this song. She did play that song because the guy asked her to and then, during the proposal, she almost cried! It was awesome! After the show she asked me which one I liked better (Sao Paulo or Porto Alegre) and spent the longest time talking to everyone! Seriously, even if you have to travel, don't miss her next show! you won't regret it!

September. Maybe it'll be on my birthday... and i like the title: "Tiger Suit" She says the sound for the album will be totally different from what she's done with the other two big releases. My fave was definitely Eye to the Telescope, though Drastic Fantastic grew on me eventually. She's so versitile, i shouldn't be surprised the new album will bring yet another angle of her music to light. So exciting!! OMG! I love KT!!!!! When she came to Brazil in 2008 I saw her show in my city then travelled 600 miles to see her in another city. It was the right decision; her show in Porto Alegre was absolutely amazing and I met people who I´m still friends with! I can't wait for her next album!

That and the Camera Obscura show in May will just make 2010 the most perfect year ever!

I'm leaving this club on October 10th! I can't believe it! I was supposed to have left it last october, but work didn't let me, but this time she'll be in my country, so I simply can't not go! Fico feliz em ler a língua portuguesa no Brumstix!

Is that true with Brazil and the place Regina will be? It actually depends on the artist. Like, Beyonce, Madonna, U2, Bon Jovi, Oasis, etc when they come to Brazil they usually play in football stadiums, it's usually something between 30,000 and 50,000 people. Actually, the biggest audience Beyonce's ever had was here... over 60,000 people. But there are smaller concerts too. Like, almost 2 months ago I saw Camera Obscura live, in a really small venue, no more than 500 people. It was hell to buy tickets! Anyway, Regina will play a festival that is expecting to get around 70,000 people/day. But I have my doubts that it's going to happen, because the tickets are really expensive. All my friends who are also HUGE Regina fans are all giving up on going and a lot of people who thought this Festival would be amazing are now hating on it online, because of the prices. It's Brazil, we are poor! People forgete that sometimes!

I hope she comes to Argentina but if she doesn't I'm so going to see her in Sao Pablo. I hope she goes to Argentina, but if she doesn't and if you really come to Brazil, please let me know! I would love to people from here! That would be great! I'm not sure who I am going with because the date is very close to mid-terms so it would be great to meet with Regina fans! Do you think there's a chance that she'll play another show on a smaller venue? Many musicians do that when they come to festivals here Honestly, I think it's very unlikely. But, I'll try and talk to the fans I know and see if we can do something... I don't know, maybe talk to a producer who would be willing to do that. Dave Matthews Band will play the Festival and then head to Rio for a solo concert. If she did the same, I would rather go to Rio... but I really don't see that happening.
