  2. Remember Us To Life (Album Coming Sep 30, 2016)

Got this from the most recent mailing list update: "I wanted to share some news for those who ordered the record on "clear vinyl." I got word that sadly it all went wrong at the manufacturing plant, and the record was only made in black vinyl. Warner is working hard to fix it, and will send you the clear records soon as they can. For now please have fun listening to the ones you have- I wish you got the clear ones right away- but at least you'll end up with two records, and maybe you can give one to a friend!"
  3. Studio Version of Loveology confirmed?

I'd love to see it make it on her next album! Hopefully it fits somewhere

It's true! Regina said this in an interview recently and I feel like it captures how a lot of people digest her music, and music in general, perfectly: “To me it’s a very breathing, living thing that someone invites into their house, kind of like a pet, and they can interact with the record when they’re in different moods, or different times of their lives. Maybe for months they can skip over one song as soon as it starts – something about it just annoys them – and then one day, when the time is right, that song just becomes the exact thing they need, and all of a sudden they’re like, ‘Wow, I never used to like this and now I love it.’ Another song they used to really like, maybe they never ever want to hear it again, you know; ‘I’ve taken all the nutrients from it and it’s got nothing left for me.’ I like that. That’s what music is to me, it’s almost like food – like a supplement or something. ”

I'm the opposite. I've been really into Bleeding Heart, Grand Hotel, Trapper, and Tornadoland and pretty much nothing else.. I do like the other songs but they're not hitting me as hard for some reason. I think they need to grow on me a bit more. I still find myself singing along to them too so idk. Overall I like it though!

I like hearing people's opinions on things. Whether it's written or recorded on video. As well as sharing excitement for Regina's music. That's why we're here, right? Nice video Tallchick!

Yeah I was just reading comments on her fb and some people seem to think it's really different than her past songs but it's totally still Regina lol I can't wait to see her play this live

  18. Regina at Duke University Recording

So, quite a while ago I told some people here that I had this recording from a show Regina did at Duke University in 2007, but I couldn't find it (and I felt really bad ) I thought it was lost! Well, while in search of some old photos on my computer I came across it today! This was the last show of her 2007 tour. Regina had a bad case of Vertigo and had to cancel the rest of her tour after this. It's an interesting show... She was so sick she had to be carried on and off the stage. There's also some interesting audience interaction and in the middle of the show Jack comes out and does a comedy routine to keep the crowd entertained while Regina takes a break. A lot of the songs are slowed down, but if I remember correctly she still sounded amazing! Here's the setlist: Ain't No Cover On The Radio Sailor Song Man With A Thousand Faces Summer in the City Better Blue Lips Ode To Divorce Small Town Moon One More Time With Feeling The Wallet Ghost of Corporate Future Field Below Real Love Fidelity Samson and you can download the show here Enjoy

There's actually audio of that interview too: http://www.robbrink.com/2006/10/01/regina-spektor-interview-audio/
  20. post your favorite photos of regina

Does anyone know who this person is? She comes up in that search engine (and google images) as Regina at the 2012 MTV Music awards, but it's clearly not Regina. haha
  21. Regina is everywhere

I walked to my local gas station to pick up some snacks after a rough morning. As soon as I walked in Fidelity started playing. Instantly put me in a much better mood. I browsed around just to hear the entire song.
  22. Regina is everywhere

It just crosses the line... and honestly it was uncomfortable to listen to. I think most women would find it creepy if a stranger wrote a song about sleeping with them. Even if it was based on a dream. I would never want to meet that guy, you know?

Do you have the link to that video? I'm not sure I've ever seen that one.

  25. MusicLover's Politics Thread

She posted a little something on Twitter. She wished peace on both sides, but she has family in friends in Israel So, I'm sure she's worried about them.. The whole thing makes me sad though. Innocent people are dying on both sides.
