  1. 11:11 briefly on eBay (gah!) Was up there for only a few hours (if that) then mysteriously withdrawn: "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale." hmmm...
  2. did anyone else see this?

generally it's pretty unfair play, not to mention against eBay (and 'net) ettiquite to make private offers. dunno if that's what you did, but in any case, having scored 11:11 you could pretty much retire on kudos. [heavy edit]

  5. I can't believe it--I just bought 11:11 (hard copy)

@Scotty: awesome FLACs, thanks a heap! Regina would be proud you know; I spoke with her at the Edinburgh gig in 2005 and when I said that I'd acquired most of her stuff at that time from the internetz she basically said "cool" and was really annoyed at the record company insisting on the FBI warning on the newly pressed Soviet Kitsch CDs. BTW I have got six legitimately purchased items of hers, so I hope I've put some good money in her dear pockets. @clementine: big points for scoring 11:11 ! have you managed to scan the cover? Apologies if I've missed a link somewhere if you have...

  9. Regina on BBC Radio 2

for those who missed it, i've recorded regina's bbc radio 2 session from 1 december 2005: regina_radio2_20051201.mp3 it's 16MB in size and just under 18 minutes long. enjoy.
  10. Regina on BBC Radio 2

    yay! i love pants!
  11. London (Camden) Show

the Camden gig was good, but i thought Reg was very quiet between songs. i saw her at CabaretVoltaire in Edinburgh a few months back, and she was really chatty and interacting with her audience much more. both were great gigs and i was chuffed to be there. i thought Matt Pond PA (the support band) were pretty good. i spoke with the drummer and lead singer after the show, we did share a mutual admiration of the fantastic Spoon from Texas. look 'em both up. thanks roland

  14. when is Regina playing in London?!?!

hey daveconbrio, so you're going to the london gig? me too - just received my tix. i first (and last) saw Regina at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh - were you at that show too?
  15. does anyone have this song

hey, stop moaning about Live at Bull Moose being *soooo hard* to find... i live in the UK, so i have to be that bit more resourceful. i bought mine from newburycomics.com and AFAIK they still have it available to order. go spend your dollars, people.
  16. Regina Demographics

anyone working out the average age? uh, well i'm 34. i'm also told i look 15. or was that 51... whatever. i still have my hearing, and i dig Regi.
  17. mp3's for the songs cd

quote: online piracy funds terrorism and regina will slap you! hmmm, that's kinda harsh! funny story: i was at her Edinburgh gig and spoke with her after her show, having just purchased Songs and Soviet Kitsch at the stall. i admitted to her that i had, up until then, pirate mp3 versions of all three albums, and she actually said that sharing music (including her own) was cool and should be encouraged. she also said she fought very hard with her label not to include the sinister FBI anti-piracy warning on the back of her disc, but they insisted. she was very annoyed about it. i'm still glad i bought her CDs, cos she signed one for me :-) rx
  18. DOWNLOAD Regina 2005-08-23 Edinburgh w/Amanda Palmer

i downloaded the flacs ok, ued two progs to convert to WAV to burn to CD: first was Audio Conversion Wizard v1.8 and that choked on most of the flac files, for some reason. just terminated with no message. the other was it's big brother: Advanced WMA Workshop v2.1.1b that now supports flac conversion. it happily converted all the files. go figure. anyway, thanks *heaps* to whoever recorded this show: i was there, standing precariously on the benches at the back ! (i'm about 5'5" or therabouts, in fact, about the same height as regina, judging by the photo of her and i from meeting her after the show, although she has a *lot* more hair than i do ;-) i had thought i'd missed the first 15-20 mins cos i was eating somewhere :-( so i really appreciated being able download the show. as it happens, i only missed the first two numbers. it was a really chirpy gig, lots of fun, regina chuckled a lot, and heard some fab new songs, especially liked the two last ones, Silly Eye Colour Generalizations and Baby Jesus. what a hoot! and Us just sent tingles right up my spine. i agree with her anti-protest-protestors: Regina Is Awesome! rx
