"Us" used at zune site

Recommended Posts

I was surprised to not find any discussion about the use of Us on comingzune.com - the viral marketing site by Micro$oft to start promoting their iPod-killer software player. "Us is a really good song (although I'm not sure it's stronger than Jerk it Out by the Caesars).

Hopefully the use of the song helps her career, and expands her audience (It introduced her music to me).

Anybody know who did the bunny animation?

That is great thanks for pointing it out. I think its a great song to use and I think a lot of people will wonder who it's by.

I love the animation they have done too, it seems so whimsical and to me fits with the song very well.

MTV commercials, Microsoft launches, the ads in the UK cinemas... jeez.

Gotta pay for the big label support somehow I guess... it's just that it's all so... business-ey. It all has to be a bit distracting from having an organic musical process. Pressure to produce rather than natural inspiration, I mean. Maybe? Maybe more inspiration? Will the next album be Regina's most difficult challenge yet?

Sorry. Just thinking out loud while I type.
