Knowing is definitely the best movie I've seen so far this year. First movie in a while that made me really think, it has all kinds of allusions. It's totally creepy and tragic, and philosophic and supernatural, and sci-fi, but not wildly out of the realm of believeable. Not at all your garden variety "everyone dies" movie. I might just have to see it again....

what's nicholas cage like it in?..cause i usually can't stand him.

Yes he was. Not my favorite either, but eh still totally worth it.

And I've heard Slumdog was interesting, but I haven't seen it yet. Keep you posted on that.

watched sweet charity, cabaret and chicago. all amazing.

especially the one of the dances in sweet charity, unreal.

Our high school just did Sweet Charity as their winter musical, heheh. The ending is a tad anti-climactic however... and the end of Cabaret is just plain depressing.

oh, i loved both the endings. i though cabaret's was extremely clever and left you wondering in the end how it would of turned out. and in sweet charity i loved the ending too but to each his own i guessSmiler

also i watched meet joe black last night again, its my favourite movie off all time i decided, and today i watched burn after reading. brad pitt was hilarious.
