Sure, we'll let you have this one. "In" is part of "into," so fair enough.

It's not necessary to put another word in bold, though. The next person can choose any word they like to continue the chain.

I think it's my fault we've been playing the game wrong. I was the first to reply to this thread, and I misunderstood Jeremy's (Stepped On A Syringe, the OP) explanation. The word that matches a word in the previous post is supposed to be in italics, and the poster chooses a word for the next poster to match, which is in bold.
