Chai Tea..! I know, not soup.

Recommended Posts

i'm my town (balmain), every second shop is a coffee shop, which is not really very helpful seeing as i don't drink coffee. but i manage a small tea shop which sells loose leaf tea and a few tea bags, so i'm surrounded by tea all day. however i've reach a new high of obsession, because i spend the money i make at my shop going into the city and buying specialist green tea

I like Chai Tea occasionally, as I just love Cinnamon with everything. Smiler

In Waitrose last week I bought Three packs of Tea Bags for the price of Two and chose "Green Tea with Lemon & Ginger" which is lovely, "Green Tea with Jasmine" and "Organic Rooibos Tea", the latter two I have yet to try! Wink

My best drink bargain though, was a Fancy Hot Chocolate with Marshmallow Gift Pack, containing a huge mug with a "Love Chocolate" Motif, Hot Chocolate Mix Sachet, Mini Marshmallows, A Bar of Chocolate with Mini-Grater which sold for £8 for Christmas but was in a Fantastic Boots Sale for £2! Roll Eyes

I took two of those Gift Packs over to my Lady Friend's Home last evening with my mouth salivating with anticipation, but she wanted to go out to see a really violent Coen Brothers Movie instead! Confused

I thought that the film was well-made and full of suspense, but overall pretty sickening! Eeker

To finish the evening on a far more pleasant note I dragged my Little Lady off to "The Hanbury Club" in Kemptown for Salsa Dancing and guess who I had a dance with? Big Grin

My annoying cough is still waking me up at night! Frowner

I am sipping a cup of Green Tea with Lemon & Ginger, to which I added a spoon of Acacia Honey and a squeeze of fresh Orange Juice, whilst listening to Alex Lester on BBC Radio 2's "Best Time Of The Day" programme. Wink

Alex has played some great songs this morning, including "Please Read The Letter" by Alison Krauss & Robert Plant, "Everybody's Gone To War" by the wonderful Nerina Pallot, Paul McCartney's latest single off the album "Memory Almost Full", Alex just read an e-mail from me over the airwaves and I am enjoying being on Brumstix, so who wants to be asleep anyway? Big Grin

This is irrelevant, but I thought it was cool that Javier Bardem won an Oscar for being in "No Country For Old Men." He's repping for the Spanish-speakers. (I would say Latinos, but he's technically from Spain.) Big Grin

Dudes, add some vanilla to your chai tea. Actually add it to pretty much everything. Especially tea, not the green teas though haha ick. But vanilla with Orange Pekoe, vanilla with chai, vanilla with those random nut-flavoured desert teas, vanilla with the Christmas tea that tastes like gingerbread cookies (okay maybe not, I haven't tried this), vanilla with English breakfast.

I am on a vanilla binge.
