Yaya 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 quote: Originally posted by Eliana: "summer in the city, I’m so lonely lonely lonely so I went to a protest just to rub up against strangers and I did feel like coming but I also felt like crying" This is *the* saddest of all in my opinion. it just describes utter loneliness. Yablonya 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 Even though No One is the saddest song for me, On the radio has been getting to me lately because it makes me think of my friend. Sometimes I can't even finish it listening to it, even though I love it. I end up playing it one the piano and singing it myself lol ! Somedays used to get me all teared up when I first bought SK, too. 'I must be emo' p.s. Sorry for the terrible pop-culture(=what?) reference. That was gay hehe

I'm just a cry baby! Yeah I have to admit that's the best line Regina ever wrote. But I love the whole verse: "Outside the cars are beeping out a song just in your honor, and though they do not know it all mankind are now your brothers" I mean jeez, where will you ever hear a lyric like that? See, the whole verse doesn't get to me, for me, it's just that part "and though they do not know it...all mankind are now your brothers" probably the way she sings it too, her falsetto is the PRETTIEST, CLEAREST, most perfect falsetto I've EVER heard...besides the Norwegian dude from a-ha, you know! "Take on me"! Regina and him, yep, BEST falsetto EVER!
ajalaw 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 That is so true. Whenever I hear it I melt. I more than melt. To me I see it as an actual angel is singing.
