it worked on my itunes but i dont remember how it happened. i think as soon as i installed it asked which programs to scrobble so i clicked real player, windows media, and itunes and it just did its thing.

i would try to uninstall and re-install it seems that something went wrong in the process.

Problem might be solved but maybe if you go to preferences on iunes or last.fm and click scrobble on? ( damn..i really don't know) i think thats it..

Also i have a porblem on last.fm its soo complicated for me, i can't get it to scrobble of my ipod, wanna help a brother out?

I don't really use iTunes, but I have it installed on my compy as well as the Last.fm plugin for it. Like Perks said, when you install the scrobbler, it should detect any media softwares that you have on your computer and install the appropriate plugins automatically.

If you don't want to reinstall the program, then just open-up Last.fm and click on Tools > Get Plugin and just follow the on-screen instructions.
