Call Them Brothers (with Only Son/Jack Dishel)

Recommended Posts

I've been listening to this song on repeat for weeks now, but I have yet to find the lyrics online... unless I'm not searching the right places, but Google has not proven successful Frowner

I'd post my own interpretation of the lyrics, but I can't figure them out from the recording I have. Does anyone happen to know/can listen to the song and figure them out?

Okay, so... I tried. And my effort is kind of laughable, because I can't even discern words on studio recordings Razzer Here it goes:

That's it, it split, it won't recover,

just frame their halves, and call them brothers

find their fathers, and their mothers

if you remember, who they are

over and over, they call us their friends

can't we find something else to pretend?

where nobody's won and we're safe at the end

and the dark is the... (Jack mumbling) so let's leave it on

we'll be out of the street

before anyone knows that we're gone

That's it, it split, it can't recover

just frame their halves and call them a whole,

and chip at the bricks and fill up your pockets,

with the pieces of the ones that you stole.

the hunt is on, everyone's chasing,

everyone's chasing a shot, a shot rings out

nobody wants it, nobody wants it to stop

that's it, it split, it won't recover

just frame their halves and call them brothers

find your fathers and your mothers

if you remember, who they are

if you remember (if your remember)

if you remember (if your remember)

if you remember, who they are
