A plug...

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

My previous account was called BloodRoses - I was a member on here back in 2004! My name's Matt and I transcribed Soviet Kitsch once upon a time, so if any of you have the sheet music.. that was me. Anyway, I just wanted to plug my own piano-based singer-songwriter type album, as I've just set it for free download here:

http://mattwinkworth.bandcamp.com/

Sorry for the shameless plug, but it's completely well-meant as I think there's a fair chance you'll like the CD... Smiler

With love(ology),

Matt x

Hey, thanks very much, hope you enjoy the CD.

It's nice to be back. I had a bit of a holiday from Regina's music, but have recently started listening to the new album, which I didn't really give much time when it first came out...

Hey Matt, good to see you around again.

I haven't made it all the way through the album yet. But, so far it sounds very Broadway Theatery. I really like Song for Lolo, hilarious. =)

Any chance you still have the Islington show recording still kicking around? That was a bit before my time sadly.

Here it is - the MP3s are still up!

http://reginaspektor-net.blogs...gland-bush-hall.html

It was Bush Hall not Islington. I went to the Islington gig back then (when people kept fainting!) but I only bootlegged one, so it must've been Bush Hall.

That was before she got particularly big here, and at the end we were allowed to say hi to her Big Grin I got my "Songs" cd signed <3

Aw, happy days! Hehe.

^ *one of the many Regina interviews I've seen* Regina, "when I played a show at Bush Hall.....And that is in no way related to George W. Bush."

LOL

Hey, I totally appreciate that recording man. Without you, the Virgin Queen might have only existed as a figment of people's memory...scary thought.

Though I had to do some digging to find the post, I knew it was somewhere. (I even had a note on my computer to ask about it if you ever returned to us.) Check it out- http://reginaspektor.infopop.c...201023501#8201023501

If you still have it, I'd love a listen. (I enjoy reliving the happy days, that i missed out on.) We can even get it up on the .net with the other if you'd like, so it doesn't disappear forever. If it already has, Frowner. I still applaud you for recording and sharing!

Oh wow, I must be getting old....! I could've sworn I only made one bootleg. I'll have to do some serious rummaging. A very quick look searching my computer looks like I was pretty ruthless clearing out Regina bootlegs, I only seem to have album tracks. I found a CD called "Regina Various" that I made with a load of then unreleased tracks, but not my bootlegs. Well, I'll have a hunt :/...
