monsterinyourcloset 9 Report post Posted March 31, 2012 I went to see the Cat Empire the other day (good band too), their opening act was a band called Tinpan Orange. They were lovely and the lead singer was so adorable. http://www.myspace.com/tinpanorange

SchoolIsOut 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2012 @Be Like the Water: I TOTALLY agree! I love that you compared these guys to Freelance Whales, it's actually what made me check them out! They definitely sound similar but Imagine Dragons has their own fun sound! Love it! Have you guys heard of Family of the Year? I discovered them a while back and now they're on all sorts of commercials! They're fun groovy tunes that are perfect for summer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maipAShVPaA
silver bullet trailer 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2012 ^ Glad you guys liked them!!! I suppose this is self-promotionary, but I started a music blog a few months ago, where I post new bands that I find etc., in case anyone's interested in taking a look, here's the link: http://earsinmyheadphones.wordpress.com/ And the name is (sort of) taken from regina lyrics haha
Be like the water, people. 21 Report post Posted April 15, 2012 ^^haha i thought of eet when i read the web address. that's an awesome name for a music blog! I'll definitely check it out! school is out: i love Freelance Whales! They have an airy-ness to their music, and sometimes it really hits the spot. monsterinyourcloset 9 Report post Posted June 25, 2013 Here are some friends of mine! I saw them play the other day and was right impressed with them. Especially their guitarist, who happens to be legally blind. He can shred a kickass guitar solo on his mandolin, too. http://www.golongmusic.com/# 1 RJLupin2 reacted to this
