Recommended Posts

This is really quite yummy with a nice salad or steak.

Ingredients:

12 slices bacon

2/3 cup margarine

2/3 cup all-purpose flour

7 cups milk

4 large baked potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 green onions, chopped

1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

1. Fry bacon on medium heat and crumble up, then set aside.

2. In a stock pot or Dutch oven, melt margarine over medium heat. Whisk in some flour. Gradually stir in milk until the mix is smooth. Stir in the potatoes and onions. Boil it while stirring.

3. Let it simmer on lower heat for about ten minutes, then mix in bacon, cheese, sour cream, salt, and pepper (change to your preference). Stir and cook until the cheese is melted.

4. Distribute and enjoy! Wink
