mooebon 1 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 I like her Leonard Cohen covers and would be happy to hear more. I can imagine her doing Bjork's Joga. And after hearing Real Love, I would be happy to hear more Beatles. Maybe "I Will" or "Here, There, and Everywhere" or "Blackbird" or "Let It Be." Or anything else ... Lost in the Sounds 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2008 I think it would be awesome if Regina covered Joni Mitchell. I know everyone covers Joni, but Regina is capable of tackling some of Joni's monumental, less known songs. I'd love to hear her interpretations of these songs on piano. Also (not trying to start ANYTHING here, but FYI I first heard of Regina on a Tori forum, so the comparisons are gaining her a few fans at least, even though they're both totally unique women who really aren't similar artists at all) Tori did an amazing cover of "I Don't Like Mondays" on Strange Little Girls and that song is so sweet with just the piano/vocal. I want to hear Regina do that SO bad now! Hahha, what a GREAT and perfect song for her. Cuz she's got a clear, perfect voice and that's the way a girl should do it, like The Sunday's did it - but Regina would blow that version out of the water.
