  1. Record Store show

Is there an available DOWNLOAD for these videos? I hope I didn't miss it earlier in the thread... =/
  2. New Yorker Festival - 10/2/10

--wow. I was honestly expecting one, perhaps two songs. That was enthralling.
  3. Wee Rants

    Oh my... o.O
  4. Let's go to the Movies...

David Fincher is awesome. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was such a great work of..well, it just was. Sgt, what do you study at UNCC? You know people from Stokesdale!? Who!? I may know them. =P Are there a lot of NC'inians on Brumstix? And R.overdose, I agree with your statements on Joaquin. I always thought he has been a proficient actor. I haven't seen any of the movie you just listed, however. o.O
  5. Let's go to the Movies...

I...don't know much about that critic--or most critics. I noticed that The Social Network was getting very good reviews, and it helps that another of my favorite musicians--Nine Inch Nails--did the score. True Grit though, is a Coen brothers remake of the Eastwood film starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon. It looks...well, epic.
  6. Let's go to the Movies...

I certainly think he is an underappreciated actor. Was he not even NOMINATED for his roles in Gladiator and Walk the Line? Also, I never knew of any movie dubbed "Quills"--but that cast sounds flipping epic. Have either of you seen the trailer for David Fincher's--Fight Club, Seven, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button--new film, The Social Network? Or True Grit? Another question, if you don't mind my asking--what part or NC are the two of you from?

  8. Wow. ^ That was very well written and thouroughly enjoyed, I felt like I was there. =] It's odd though--I admit this somewhat reluctantly for fear that I'm just crazy. I wasn't able to make it to the Tribute but I actually stayed up to see when some videos were posted, and the impact and sentiment so obviously expressed in Regina's segments alone made me very, very sad and empathetic. I felt so much for her--so much so I couldn't sleep. It makes me feel kind of silly to say it, but I haven't even seen her in person but the events leading up to this, and how she is depicted make me feel like I know her, and should support her in any way a fan like me is able. I question if attending the show was a way for me to do that, though--If I cried watching the videos, I can only imagine the emotional fit I would be in had I been there in person. ;P On a lighter note, and hopefully not unpleasant--I am jealous you were given a regina hug--and a significant one, too. I am sorry if I decreased the significant of your post with this. =/

Unfortunately after having said bangs for a total of three days, I've officially decided they're a pain in the ass and now deeply regret my rash decision. :/ Ah, Spotless--this is you!? You're type seems so much more...I dunno--not the age you seem to be here. ^ A compliment, to be sure. And your hair is so pretty! Though I could see why the bangs would a an annoyance. ^Another compliment, by the way--so we are clear. Oh, and so you know--I am jealous of what looks like a piano in the background. I want it. >.>

She talked about Dan in the beginning and didn't shed a tear--I'm so proud. ;] And I must also say that the choice of those three songs seemed very appropriate--sad, but appropriate. I think this may sound badly; but I wonder if this is something that will take a toll on her music? I don't know. I hope that she feels better and is more like she used to seem but...I can't help but think this will impact her, her writing, and performing in a rather profound way. I just hop everyone is okay, and that things get better for them all.

New member here. It's 2:46 Am and I can't flipping sleep, so I decided to upload a picture of myself so as to make you all aware of my appearance... yeah. =P
  13. Would you pay to get Regina to do a show for us?

Aw, thank you! I noticed the "dry spell". I joined with then intent on posting and talking and posting and talking and...posting...and... posting. o.O But it's okay. I'll post regardless of the dry spell or respondants. I dunno if that's obnoxious or obsession--probably both. but still--thank you. =]
  14. Would you pay to get Regina to do a show for us?

It's sad this kind of...died. But for what it's worth now, I can contribute $400-$600. =]
  15. But everything was okay? No one in tears or anything? That would be sad. I really hope the family is doing okay. =/
