George I could see you the entire time from above! I was on the top Balcony that circled the stage. As fate had it we were directly behind (and above) Regina, so I saw the top of her head and more importantly full view of her hands playing all night. I loved the set list. If it wasn't for her coughing between songs (which elicited a collective "Awww"from the audience,) I would have had no idea she was sick. Her voice was incredible. Random fun moment: A large man in a suit carrying a chair onstage for Poor Little Rich Boy and then promptly removing it after. She has her own chair carrier!
  3. Six Thoughts...

    1. It's amazing how quiet it is in my apartment right now. 2. I don't understand why everyone wouldn't want to work hard and put more time into something that they say they love. 3. The silly dances my friend does to cheer me up always work. 4. I am neither hot nor cold at the moment. 5. There are so many good things in my life at the moment that I'm afraid they might end/ go away. 6. I know so much more about my self than I did last year.
  4. HIAS Benefit - 2/23/11

I got tickets for an early birthday gift! I'm so excited. I hope she plays new songs!

  14. Barnes & Noble (NYC), August 18, 2009

AMAZZING!! I know I always describe Regina performances as that but after everyone I see I'm more blown away then before. I don't know what to say about it but I left there with my mind a buzzin (in a very good way!) I'll let someone who can form sentences go into details but basically it was a joint interview with songs intermixed. The songs were..... 1. Laughing With 2. Blue Lips 3. Folding Chair and for a finale 4. Us(!!!)

Yea I was wondering what time you all were going to get there. I was in that Barnes and Noble yesterday and asked two people who worked there about it. (One who worked on the 4th floor where the show will be and one in customer service). None of them seemed to know who Regina Spektor was (despite the huge banners in the store advertising the event) and they both told me people usually get there late. So if I wanted to be safe come an hour before, or if I was worried come at 5. Which I obviously think is ridiculous. They didn't know how popular Regina is. Im sure there will be people waiting there all day.
